Exclusive Balloon Events is the events arm of aerial marketing specialist Exclusive Ballooning.
Exclusive Ballooning is famed for taking hot air balloons for a variety of high profile clients to the most iconic locations around the world, including Buckingham Palace in London, Rockefeller Park in New York, Salt Flats in Utah, Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, The Coliseum in Rome, and most notable UNDER Tower Bridge for Disney.
After becoming established as the world leader in aerial marketing, Exclusive Ballooning began organising dedicated hot air balloon events. These events grew so rapidly and were quickly established as annual fixtures, that Exclusive Balloon Events was born.
In 2019, the first year of nomination, Exclusive Balloon Events was the recipient of National Outdoor Events Association’s prestigious award for ‘best outdoor event of the year’ for their Sky Safari® event.
Exclusive Balloon Events are the proud organisers of some of the most prominent annual balloon events, including:
- The RICOH Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta®; which sees up to fifty hot air balloons fly over central London each year to raise money for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal charities and has raised over £250,000 to date.
- The Exclusive Cup Sky Safari; a hot air balloon festival held at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire. In 2017, only the event’s second year, this became the largest annual hot air balloon event in the UK. 2018 saw the event break a UK record, with 169 different hot air balloons launching in a single mass ascent. This was further extended in 2019 with 172 hot air balloons launching in a single ascent and an impressive 84 balloons taking place in the signature night glow.
- Balloon Cross Channel; in April 2017 82 hot air balloons took off from Lydden Hill Race Circuit and flew across the English Channel, landing in Calais and breaking the existing Guinness World Record.
- Balloons On The Beach; brand new event at Weston-super-Mare beach. The debut of the event took place in 2019 as part of the Weston Air Festival on June 22nd and 23rd with a launch of balloons from Weston-super-Mare’s beach front.
